Post GRaduation Work Permit
Eligible Educational Program: Complete a full-time program at a Canadian DLI for at least eight months, leading to a degree, diploma, or certificate.
Graduation from a Designated Learning Institution: Your institution must be a DLI, approved by the provincial or territorial government to host international students.
Full-Time Status: Completion of the program on a full-time basis.
Program Completion: Finish the program and get official confirmation with a transcript or letter showing completion of all requirements.
Maintaining Legal Status: Maintenance of valid student status throughout the study period.
Application Timelines: Apply for the PGWP within 180 days of receiving written confirmation from the DLI that your program is complete.
Valid Study Permit: Holding a valid study permit at the time of applying for the PGWP.
No Previous PGWP: No previous PGWP issued after completing another program in Canada.
